Neighborhood Victim

Advocacy Program

The Neighborhood Victim Advocacy Program (NVAP) provides free and confidential services to victims of bullying, domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and other crimes, to assist them in understanding their rights and options, while also providing the extra support needed to stabilize their lives post-victimization.

Trauma can feel like a complete loss of control and can make the world, or home environment, feel unreliable and unsafe. Through counseling, court support services, advocacy, safety planning, and community connection, NVAP empowers survivors to once again achieve a life of safety, stability, and long-term resiliency.

“I have a hard time opening up to people or trusting people regarding my victimization. The Neighborhood Victim Advocacy Program has given me the ability to talk about it, process it, and move on from it.” - Anonymous
